Britney Spears wants her kids to avoid showbiz life

Britney Spears has revealed she does not want her sons to follow in her showbiz footsteps.

The pop singer wants her two sons four year old Sean Preston and three year old Jayden James to avoid the downsides of fame that she has had to deal with since becoming a global music megastar in her teens.
She told a US magazine: "If my sons told me they wanted to be in the entertainment business, I'd lock them in their rooms until they turned 30.
"(The attention) is something I always knew would come with the job I chose."
The 28 year old says she has been enjoying some quality time with her boys.
"Things are pretty quiet right now. I've been spending a lot of time at home with my boys. They just started karate class, which is super cute!"

When Britney Spears was in the midst of a mental breakdown in May 2008, a few months after she was hospitalized on psychiatric hold, Mel Gibson was one of the few celebrities who reached out and tried to guide the pop princess on the road to recovery.
Gibson and his then wife Robin took Spears and her father Jamie for a recuperating getaway to their home in Costa Rica, and prior to that, the “What Women Want” star was spotted dining with Spears at a Russian restaurant in Studio City.

So now that the tables have turned, might Spears, 28, return the favor, as she is successfully moving forward with her life while Gibson’s seems to be falling apart?
A rep for Spears did not respond for comment, and sources close to her told Pop Tarts that she is yet to make mention of the recent Mel Gibson controversy, centered on a string of leaked tapes in which the actor embarks on profanity driven, racist, sexist, and threatening rhapsodies toward his former flame, But Gibson can go to sleep at night knowing at least one high profile person has his back.
On Tuesday Whoopi Goldberg defended the controversial actor’s use of the “N word” and insisted that she has known him a long time and that he isn’t racist. And although Goldberg also referred to Gibson as her “friend,” perhaps he doesn’t quite reciprocate the feelings.
“That’s why I’m so feeling angry, because I don’t have any friends,” Gibson screamed through the phone to Grigorieva in one of the leaked tapes. “I tried to make one in you, and you treat me like s**t."

Britney Spears Episode on 'Glee'

Despite an objection from one of the cast, "Glee" moves on with Britney Spears' manager's idea of having an episode using the pop singer's catalog, much like they did in season 1 with Madonna tribute. ET got the confirmation from creator Ryan Murphy who said a Spears episode is "recently in the middle of writing" process. Back in April, Britney's manager, Adam Leber, began campaigning for a particular episode featuring his client via Twitter, writing "Do you guys want to look a Britney Spears episode of Glee?". Ryan Murphy then responded, "I'm interested in the Britney Spears idea. I've always loved her. I'm entertaining it. I think young kids would like that." Asked for opinion, Matthew Morrison said, "That's a rumour her manager started. I hope our show doesn't go along that route." However, co-star Jenna Ushkowitz said, "I would so not be against a Britney episode. I'm such a huge fan. It would be so much fun." There is no clue yet whether Britney would appear in the episode. Ryan previously said that he planned a big tribute episode after 2011's Super Bowl but did not mention the artist.

Claims have been made by Britney Spears' former bodyguard that she has beaten her two sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, with a belt. However, as sources tell PEOPLE, the allegations are false.
The source, who is close to Spears, told the magazine, "Britney is quite the opposite – she doesn't discipline them enough and she will do anything to keep the boys glad. There are issues with Britney, but her abusing the boys are not one of them," said the source.
However, a man named Fernando Flores told a British tabloid that he witnessed Spears, 28, beating her children in either March or April of 2009. Yet another source tells PEOPLE that this is also false. "Everything is fine. Britney has done nothing but be a great mom to her kids."
According to RadarOnline, social workers were sent to Spears' home, but the visit was considered routine since a claim was made to protective services.
In spite of all of the drama, Spears' rep has not commented on the matter.

Her boyfriend Jason Trawick stepped in and offered her his shirt to wear on top of her flimsy orange outfit, which had been falling down at the chest.

His gentlemanly behaviour is no surprise.

Preventing Britney embarrassing herself with such slip-ups was once his full-time job for Trawick, her former agent.

He stepped down from the role to allow their personal relationship to flourish, but it seems that Trawick is still looking out for the 28-year-old singer.

And Britney appeared grateful for his help, looking happier than she has in weeks as the pair headed off on a romantic weekend break.

In recent weeks the singer's pre-occupied and worried demeanour has had fans speculating that she may once again be on a downward spiral.

America's Star magazine recently reported that Trawick had been carrying on a long-term affair with an actress named Jessica Steindorff.

Trawick reportedly met Steindorff when she worked as his personal assistant at William Morris back in 2007.

Meanwhile, Britney was recently accused of sexual harassment by her ex-bodyguard Fernando Flores, a claim her camp calls 'stupid'.

But Britney and Trawick only had eyes for each other as they stopped for one of Britney's favourite iced coffees on their way to a retreat in Palm Springs.

Walking hand-in-hand they shared a private joke, laughing as they spotted photographers.

And as they returned from the break mother-of-two Britney was still smiling, giving Trawick a hug as they stopped to fill up their car with gas.
